3/8" fuel pick up?
I have the same one in my car
I went to install my 3/8 lines and found out I had a 5/16 sender as well....also found out that Gastanks.com (quantas products) is 2 miles from my house in BFE Maryland! Who would have guessed it....and they had it in stock when I needed it.

I have a similar question. I have a 70 with a 302 and 4 barrel Holley carb that I am trying to bring back to life. I can't find anywhere what size fuel line I should run from the fuel pump to the carb. I suspect that I simply need to determine the size of the connections on the pump and carb. What size should it be for my set-up?
Regardless of what size you use, its effectiveness is only that of the smallest diameter line in the circuit. That would be 5/16".
This is why I asked the question. I have 3/8 hard line from the tank to the pump and from the pump to the carb. If I used the stock 5/16 pick up, my 3/8 line would be a waste. I have a 450HP small block. 5/16 is not quite big enough to provide the fuel flow required.
