I would add one other thing....probably the best time in life to redo a car is after you have been out of college for a year or two and managed to find an entry level job then gotten a couple of raises.

Don't think you will have more time or money down the road if you get married and especially if you have kids.

I have as yet to figure out how I made way less and saved way more when I had been out of school for a year or two but I wasn't even dating at the time. When you get married the money works out to a different sort of broke by the time you get done with all the crap they spend money on. After you have kids it is even worse with daycare and things of that nature. Even the kids piano lessons, martial arts classes, etc, etc can really help you spend your money fast.

Don't get me wrong....having a family is great and all but I sure wish I would have started my car in either high school or college then finished it up after college when I had more time and money then I do now.

Myself, I think you are in a great place right now. You have the car and have made some progress on it. If you are smart and don't get married anytime soon then you should have several years after college where you will have a steady job with free time on nights / weekends and without that leach they call a family attached to your wallet sucking you dry.
