Well I'm in the process of restoring my 1966 coupe and I'm already thinking about my next project. A guy near me has a 1966 ford mustang convertible 289 4 barrel, factory air, 4 speed, power top ect... A very well optioned car. It is a light teal color with a white top. Well I talked to this guy recently and he said he's going to fix it up for his daughter. Well it's sitting outside just going to hell. What would be an offer that he probably couldn't refuse? From what I could tell It'll need new pan's and rocker's which won't be a problem since I can do all the work myself.
Unless you have done rockers before it is nearly impossible to estimate the amount of work they require, i would say offer 2000 and if he doesnt liek that you can find another one, rockers severly deplete the inegrity of a car if they are bad for a while
It is pretty close. Mine changes colors quite a bit with different lighting. I bet mine is a couple shades lighter. In that lighting mine would lighter.
I do like that color!
