i thought they were like 450+?

other than that would you just need the cam/roller bearings/and lifters?

Not sure, it does seem a bit low, but not worth 450 ever.
You still need the roller cam, roller lifters, and maybe push rods. I thought cam bearings were all the same.

Cam bearings are all the same. That's the right price for that kit. You still have to drill and tap the holes for the spider and you will need all the parts listed above.

450 is for linked lifters. They don't need the pic you showed. What you showed is a spider tray for stock lifters. The stock lifters will cost you about 100-125 bucks on top of that. Or go to the junk yard and pick it up cheap. I still use the stock lifters I got from a bronco that had 144k miles when I pulled them.

you could pull an intake and get those parts for about 5-10$ :P

Your only looking at part of it.. Comp Cams Retro Kit which is what your looking at. Then there is the cam and lifters you'll need like the Comp Cam Xtreme Energy™, XR276RF-HR: Cam & Lifters. There is another kit that includes the timing chain also.

I posted this combination in my post the other day.
