What should the timming be set at on my motor?

 

Yeah, you can't use stock spacers on aftermarket intakes. Edelbrock even has a tech bulletin about it. Pick yourself up a nice phenolic spacer and you'll be golden.

Set the static timing at 8-10* BTDC, with total timing around 32* all in by 2800 or so.
