Default Battery cables

I am in the process of detailing the engine compartment of my new find, a 1967 convertible. My question; when replacing the main cable that runs from the starter to the negative side of the solenoid there was a clamp that is on the cable and not connected. Does anyone know where the location on the body or frame where this would clamp bolt back to? I am doing my best to restore the car and would like to do it correctly. I crawled under the car and could not find where it had been removed?

Thanks for any help out there.

Jeff

It clamps to the motor mount.
