Default Slow convertible top

Hi: I have a 66 and last summer the top went from real slow to needing help. It goes down great--going back up is the problem. Is this a major problem? Someone told me I just might need it bled. Thanks for your help.

It may be low on hydraulic fluid. It doesn't usually require bleeding unless there is a leak. Often the tubing gets old and cracks. Inspect for leaks, fix any you find and refill. If there are no leaks, your pump may be leaking internally.

Very common problem. Be sure to check, and add fluid, while the top is up.
