Default Flame Thrower 2 coil

Does the FlameThrower 2 coil from Pertronix need 12 volts, or 6 volts? Thanks, you are all such a great help.

You will notice that the flamethrower coil has different catalog numbers for different cars. Classic mustangs use a 6 volt coil, and that is why you need to order one for your year of car.

If you ordered a 12 volt coil, you need to send it back.

Yeah, i looked in my mustangs unlimited book. The coil part number they had matched the one i bought, so it should be the 6 volt coil. Thanks for your help!!
