Newbie Header w/ PS Hose problem

Upgrade to a R&P unit!

If you use the wrap, put it around the headers not the hoses. Wrap holds the heat in and that is the last thing you want. A better solution is a thin piece of aluminum sheet mounted between the headers and hose.

+1 on the fiberglass warp.

Get it wet with water and wrap it tight around the section of the header that would radiate the most heat to the ps lines. Next warp the PS lines as well to shield them from radiation. You don't have to warp the whole length just the areas that are near the header.

thnx for all the responses.... what about Shortys? I have been told that they allow for better clearance and fit .. and could solve the problem.. any thoughts?
