Default 5.0 upgrade...need some info

Heres the low down...putting a EFi 5 litre in my 66 coupe. Surfed aroud and have all the info for the swap..thanks to this site.

Here is my question...can I use the modern AC unit and fit it under my dash..I can live without the glove box..not a problem. I am thinking of taking the radio out and molding the dash back in flush..then using a set of round vents from an F150 to use for the AC/heat vents..there is quite a bit of room under the dash. I figure I can do away with the exterior vent holes that always rust out...just weld a sheet over the holes.

LMK what you guys think...and if this has been done.

Thanks again

check out the Vintage Air Sure-Fit system. it's designed to replace your current heater box for an in-dash A/C installation.
