anyone know where i can get a disc brake set up?
thanks for all the help and opinions guys. i might end up going with the manual csrp discs in front and leave the drums in back, bc they arent completely necessary. i have manual drums now and i can deal without the power assist. ill check out the junk yards for that 9" in the meantime...
There is a CSRP manual brake kit for all 65-73 Mustangs. It is difficult to mount a booster/dual reservoir master cylinder to 65-66 Mustang with manual trans because of interference from the clutch linkage. This is not a problem with cable or hydraulic clutches. The power kits I offer for 67-70 cars include a brake pedal that has the wide version foot pad correct for auto trans cars. The power upgrade kit is otherwise compatible. The user can swap the foot pad from their existing pedal to the new pedal.
To Built 67.
If you put Factory Disc Brakes on your 67, with Factory Booster, Master, and pedal you can run automatic Trans, Standard Trans, makes no difference.
Some of the repo aftermarket force fit Booster are not compatible to the Factory setup.
Doing it with Factory 67 Mustang Parts Guarantees a CORRECT fit, rather than a Fit that requires altering, changing your classic to get pieces, parts to fit.
You can install the Factory 67 Disc Brakes nearly at the same price as the Non Factory 67 Brakes, with a GREAT deal easier time of installing---All Bolt in.

We have a duty as forum members to deliver valuable information. Of course we will contribute in the area that we are interested in, and these contributions may tend to promote our interest, but why do you distract every discussion of a disc brake application with self serving nonsense? Contrary for contrary sake is lame. Please, get it right.
