Default what do u guys think?

ok so i currently cant make my mind up.... This is what im trying to do:
i have a 68 mustang with power steering and i have a 67 cougar that needs power steering. I can either buy and piece together the power componets for the cougar or buy this for my mustang http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1968-...5833QQtcZphoto and covert my mustang to manual rack. then remove my old power stuff and put it on the cougar. Has anybody ever bought one of these?? need some feed back on how they feel. My mustang is the car that goes to the track so i wouldnt mind loosing some weight. The cougar is the wife's car and she is weak..lol..

Many people here have the rack and pinion. Personally I think power steering takes away from the feel of the car. If your Cougar needs it, buy all mean do the switch.

I just dont want to get the manual rack and dread driving the car. How is the bump steer on a manual rack?

I have the TCP set up on my car, but have not driven it, yet. I did a lot of research before purchase and found most people saying that the manual R&P is far better than the stock manual steering and much more precise (except for the Flaming River set up that seems to get wide negative reviews). It is more effort than power, but not bad even when stopped unless you have a big block.

I like the manual steering in my car. But it's only got a I6 to weigh down the front end.
