I have the oppertunity to purchase a 66 Mustang from my boss for about $3,000 - $4,000..

I saw it once a few years ago and it looks pretty clean.. I dont think there is any rust on it..

He had the engine gone through..(original 289) and it is an automatic trans, manual brakes, manual steering..It does need paint and interior that I know of.

It is a plain Mustang, not a GT, or Fastback..

What range would this car be worth in todays market both in driver condition, and restored condition?

I am kind of new to Mustangs (I just bought a 09 Mustang), and just finished a complete restoration on a 68 Camaro..
