Here is a website I have been looking at. Not sure how their bulbs compare in lumens to Halogen bulbs or standard bulbs, but I know the big 30 LED bulb will not fit in our taillights. A buddy got some for his bike and I tried it in my car. No luck, so you would have to go with the smaller bulb or possibly the super bright 5watt bulb.

Their website says,
"LED bulbs are generally not as bright as standard incandescent bulbs, they have many advantages over filament bulbs (longer life, faster on/off times, lower power consumption, more vivid colors) but brightness is not one of them."...and,"Our 3 Watt and 5 Watt Luxeon LED bulbs are by far the brightest we offer."

Here is some data to chew on.

The lumen on the 5watt bulbs are 134Lumen @245mA.
The lumen on the regular 19LED bulb is 19Lumen or 8200mcd@66mA.
The Lumen on the 24LED bulb is 45Lumen@61mA.

A regular 1157 bulb produces about 400lumen@2amps (25watts).
Halogen 1157 bulb produces about 1350lumen@4amps (50watts).

As you can see from the wattage, the Halogen bulbs get much hotter, but burn a ton more brightly than even the 5watt LED replacement bulb.

Anyone know the lumen of the LED replacement 180 LED package? Curious if anyone has tried the Halogen or stock LED replacement style bulb.
