I don't have power steering either. I hope my 215 60 15 tires are not too hard to turn. I think they will be fine.

It probably turns great with 205s.

I don't plan on ever putting power steering on mine. I have had some friends and known a few others that had nothing but problems with power steering. It was either leaks or the pump going out etc.

I'm going with these...
9 up front, 10.5 out back

Those look great I'll have to check out OE Wheels when I get closer to getting new rims. I have already decided to roll the fenders on my 69 just to make sure I have no clearance issues.

The back spacing on those is 6.80 and some change...
I'm running a 71 rear on my car so I've gained an inch on each sides...
Those 10.5 on a 69 specs, might be rubbing on your leaf spring depending on the tire you choose.
I'll have tires mounted tomorrow (315/35-17) and I'll take picture for you and see if that rim is a bit over an inch away from the springs.
If so, you'll be OK.

Those wheels look awesome! I knew for sure though that i wanted more than a five spoke wheel for my car though it just looks better.

Remember, it's going on a 70 Cougar and I was already running the 98 Cobra style (FRPP #D-178) when they came out.
I loved the style but they were not wide enough to be somewhat flush with the bodywork, even with a 1 inch spacer!
Until OE came up with the 10.5 and I came up with a wider rear end too.

My car got wacked 2 years ago and I lost interest, was too disgusted...
I instead built my 06 and worked on my 68 fastback project.
Now I'm pumped again about finishing up the old cat...

Well I got plenty of time to buy wheels, so I guess I'm gonna find some that fit.
