Need a carburator for my '68
i just changed the throttle plate to non-drilled from the other carb, hooked the float bowls (probably fell off in shipping) and adjusted them as well as choke and curb idle, bent all the rods back into place (again shipping) then gave it a big smile and off i went :-)
I decided to give it a shot at a brand new 4 barrel 600 CFM holley (manual choke) and picked one up today for $255.00 plus 6% tax ; I will report back to all of you later w/ the end result , Thanks!!
Just installed and fire it up the first time !! definitely it runs like a charm , for a 289 basically stock , the 600 holley is the way to go; Thanks for the input from my fellow mustang brothers/sisters!!!!
