Default Need some help please, clerify?

Need some help please. I finally found my donor car for my efi swap. I got a 90 gt with a t5, I am going to order some things so I can have they here hopefully here for sat I am planning on removing and placing the engine in mine. I am going to be ordering some things that I need. Like the frame mounts, motor mounts, oil pan, oil pump and some hedders. I am deciding on a couple of them that I saw where I usually order my parts from. There are some short and some long tube don't know what the difference will do or what. My car is going to be an ocassionally driver not for racing. I am seeing some hedman hedders, 1 1/2, short and some 1 5/8 also short. Whats the difference? there is also some 1 5/8 long tube. I have been reading on these for a while and remember that there is some cable problems on the long tube, but some people say they will clear. Could you all help and clear this for me. I did a search but didn't find anything saying about the thickness. I aslo went to autozone to look at the oil pump and they asked if it was a high pump or a normal pump that I was looking for. Supposably the car I bought was fixed up for an ocassionaly race, I am thinking of going with a regualr pump. What do you all think?
