I would go with the T5 or TKO for a tranny. I don't know much about them so hopefully someone else will provide more info about them.

What are you looking to do? make a cruiser? Strip car?

5 speed is a really sweet setup if you're going to be cruisin and going to shows.

Check out Glen at Rosehill Performance. He's in Houston.

The 250 inline 6 had the v8 suspension besides the front springs.To me a 390 is kinda useless you can build a 408 351w and 351c easy and it would weight less.You have a 8 inch rear end now if you go big block or high powered engine you need a 9 inch.
