i finally got a original radio for my 66 coupe. i want to see if it works. all four wires are there. a black wire with a yellow cap connector a blue wire with red stripe and a red cap connector and two black wires one with a green stripe with a dual connector. can anyone tell me which is the power wire the light wire and the speaker wire? thanks

I need to know this also. I don't plan on making mine work, just need the light to work. I only paid $30.00 for mine.

From what I can tell, the blue/red is power, black is ground, and the dual plug are speaker wires. I could be wrong and the single black may be power for the light..?

From what I can tell, the blue/red and black/red are your power leads. Orange is a L/R speaker, white is a L/R speaker, and the black is a common wire (ground). Is the unit installed and wired up? Do you have access to a multimeter? If so, check the wires to see what is providing what voltages.

Is this a new unit? Sounds like someone wired it up to make sense to them. Green wire is usually ground.
