Found a rearend on craiglist. Its out of a 78 lincoln mark V i think. Would it be a direct bolt in for my 70 coupe. Its a 9" with disc brakes, didn't say anything about the splines though.

 

you would have to check the length from axle flange to flange. then check if the rear housing already has spring perches mounted on, and if they are, check the gap between them and see if your leafs are the same. and check the yoke on the third member and makes sure its the one you need for your driveshaft. thats all i can think of

 

A lincoln mk v had a coil spring suspension so it would take some major mods to make work.

 

the lincoln is a boat, id imagine you will need to shorten the axles
