wiring steeing column
Rewiring a 68 coupe (bone stock, no AC) using the Ron Francis express system, the install was straigt forward but I have 2 wires off the steering column left over one “Red” and the other “Yellow”. The wiring diagrams I have don’t say where they go. I assume one or both are ground but I can’t confirm. Any assistance? FYI I replaced the turn signal switch last year with what was suppose to be an OEM replacement from superior mustang in Co.
Diagrams I have http://www.themustangshop.com/resources.cfm
And http://www.hammar.dyndns.org/~djhamma/wiring/wiring1968.htm
thanks

I am not exactly sure what it does but yellow appears to be apart of the lighting switch assembly, turn signal assembly, and ignition switch. It appears to be full voltage source from the fuse box.
Red looks to be part of the Ammeter assembly (current meter), but that is not in the steering column...

After looking at the bad diagram yellow shows as horn, ron's direction shows the horn as being blue on yellow, i cant find red any where, when i pulled the original and installed the new switch i recall double checking the wiring colors and all matched. I cant really test the system yet, no lights installed on the car, i need to finish color sanding my less than perfect paint job.
any one? have a any ideas as to what wire is what?

ten fron the turn signal switch, 9 off the main harness - the mysterious 'red" one has no wire off the main. it would be directly opposite of the yellow in your bottom pic under the blue.
