You guys have me giving it a second thought though. I may be able to sell the GT350 as it is- half rusted, and just buy a regular V8 fastback. I could even take some original parts to make it feel authentic. Don't worry- I would never lie about it authenticity. I just know that the only way I could ever own a GT350R is to build one.

Nice information. I think I can compile a complete list from those sources.

I have already been emailing Tony D. Branda about some hard to find parts. They have a lot of nice Shelby parts.

the shifter **** i know is the wood looking based back round 4 speed (obviously) pattern thats about all the help i can give u (my friends dad restore and corrected one) thats all i really remember cuz at first i asked em if it was stock and suprised me

Yeah im kinda with them you can sell the car now for a pretty penny i seen many rusted to hell even wrecked ones sell for 30k up.

the one that I've seen is black with the pattern written on top in white.

besides, even if I sell the GT350, I will still be building a GT350R.

yeah right. I got lucky with the car- it was a real barnyard find.

getting back on topic- does anyone have or now where I can get a picture of the racing harness? supposedly the R type used shoulder harnesses.
