I'm with Brian. I think a turbo-4 would be an awesome swap. Fun to drive. Good power. Light weight. and good gas mileage. There's a few around, but not many. I'v never seen one.

here's something original that i've always wanted to play with....

mercrusier (boat motors) had a 4 cylinder inboard that was aluminum and used ford 460 rods, pistons, and head. with the purchase of 1 aluminum aftermarket head (think trick flow, edelbrock, etc) you would have a 3.7 liter, all aluminum, lightweight 4 cylinder. add a turbo to that and you would have one sick *** ride. internal parts like better pistons and rods would be easy to get since its big block ford parts.

the only problem you may have is a bellhousing but thats what custom stuff is all about right?

Better yet. I am thinking about a turbo diesel. There is a 65 FB here that i am working on getting. If i get it i may put a VW TDI into it. Cept i would put in a huge *** turbo.
