Default Stuck intake manifold.

I am in the middle of removing my intake manifold but it is very hard to get out. I have everything removed including the carb but I can't get it to budge. I used a piece of wood and used the hammer to try and knock it loose but it won't give.

Does anyone have any tips on how best to get it loose. BTW it is the original intake, but I am sure it has been removed before.

Any tips?

I got it out. Pryed it up using the thermostat housing and alternator. First time doing this so I was a little hesitant about muscling it too much. Getting more confident the deeper I dig.

yeah, there also should be a little place where you can get a prybar into or something of the type to pry it out. they often do need to be muscled out pretty well
