Default 66 p/s pump ?

I am looking to replace my stock steering box with a p/s rack and pinion but I want a rack and pinion pump that will work with my I6. Will a 1979 80, etc pump from those year I6's that had power rack and pinion bolt up with my 66 I6? Thanks!

The pumps are all generally the same. It's the brackets that are differant.

Go to your local library and get ahold of a Hollander Interchange manual. That will help you figure out which parts will most likely fit for you.

Or, spend the big bux and buy a kit from one of the companies like Steeroids that sell kits.
