hub removal

Default hub removal

any good recommendations for removing the hub from the drum.

BFH. should do the trick. i would assume your going to replace the 40+ yr old lugs any ways so hit it from the front and it should pop out the back. make sure your BFH is rubber or composite and not iron or steel. if it is iron or steel. use a wood seperator. and plenty of WD40

Place a piece of 2 x 4 across the hub and rap with a large hammer. Should drop out after a couple of blows. Mine did anyway.

that is what I was trying. I upgraded in hammer size and got it out. Thanks.
