Did it again...
the one on the next to left goes into the one on the left, and was about 8" long with a tapered end. I had three people helping me when i pulled the motor, whom i no longer associate with... which really put me in a bad spot
i believe that to be 3/8NPT as well
Perhaps the best way to approach this is to take a picture of the top of your manifold and lets identify what port connects to what. Typically, the PCV valve and distributor vacuum advance connect to the carburetor. Fitting on the front of the manifold include coolant temperature gauge sensor (water passage) and heater core input (water passage) and on the rear power brakes (vacuum passage) and tranny modulator (vacuum passage). I believe that a Performer only has one vacuum port on the rear, so if you have PB and a C4, you will have to tee it to feed both.
yes. performer has 1 port in rear, performer rpm has a 2nd port in the high rise part. had to learn it the hard way when i ran my engine with that thing open :-) took me a long time to find that leak *g*
thanks mark, that solved my problem.
i was confused because stock had 3 ports
and edelbrock had 4... 2 in the rear on intake runners, i guess dual vacuum, and since i have manual brakes then one should be plugged?
