Default 650fm /nascar performance intake manifold

With this set up with nearly stock motor what kid of horsepower boost am i getting from the stock 225hp?

stock 225HP is 4 barrel 289 which in real life is only about 190BHP at crank.
my guess is when you have a stock exhaust sytem there will be no significant change.
with a proper high flow exhaust system

i don't know that manifold/ you got a link for it? if it's high rise single plane then stay away from it on a stocker

It'll still be less than 200hp. But yeah, a single plane on a stock 289 is just gonna kill power everywhere.

why do i have a gut feeling the intake in question is one of those edelbrock performers that are painted black with the nascar logo on them?

also, 650 is too much for a stock motor. you need to be down @ the 600 mark.
