Default courtesy light

i bumped my courtest light and now the damn thing is stuck on no matter where i move the wire it wont go back off i shut the door and wait it doesnt go off i just cant get it off is there a trick 2 pulling this off or should i just clip the wire

what do you mean you bumped the CL ?

Check the door switch

The C-light circuit is always "HOT", and the door and dash switches turn the light on by providing the GROUND for the circuit.

Chances are the wire that goes to the switches has become pinched or otherwise grounded when you bumped the light.

Take it loose and find the "short to ground" tape it up and you will be good to go. it is likely pinched under the light housing.

that sounds like a good reasoning i was imagining it was ground but how and where it was i didnt know...thanks alot!
