Styled Steel wheels come on 65, 66 and 67 Mustangs from the factory. I believe they became availible in August of 64 so you could have them on a late build 64 1/2. There is no way to tell if your car came from the factory with the wheels or not. It is not coded on the door tag with the type of wheels. As far as how to tell and original wheel from an after market wheel, I would think the originals would have some type of marking on the back like a date code or FoMoCo stamp. Honestly I'm not sure about that.

My original rims aren't the styled, but they have FoMoCo and I think a code on stamped on them.
