Help w/ Paint
hey everyone
i decided to paint my 67 coupe black. i wanted to ask if anyone has used PPG paint to paint their cars (pictures would be greatly appreciated). never heard of PPG and and have always thought DuPont was the upper echelon when it comes to paint.

PPG paint has been around for decades. It's a very strong & durable paint. My car was painted using PPG paint and clearcoat and I had it painted 11 years ago.

Just keep in mind you are picking black. I love black cars, but they show any/every inperfection so the body work needs to be almost perfect. Good luck and show us some pictures when it's finished.

If you are going solid black and not a metallic or pearl black you can spray a single stage black, then color sand and buff for an awesome shine. For that matter, any solid color can be sprayed single stage. Makes it better for touch up jobs too. PPG has been around forever and have top of the line products.
