Question *Help* 4 sp bellhousing

i plan on replacing my 3 speed auto with a 4 speed t10...i am having a hard time finding a bellhousing that fits up to my 302 and to my t10...i have been told the t10 has the "narrow" bolt pattern and it's hard to find, but i have also been told that a bellhousing off of a 80's ford truck with the 300 straight six will also bolt up to the 302 along with the narrow bolt pattern on the tranny...any additional info would be great...the car is a 67 and i believe the motor is 72-73...thanks

"Somebody" has been over-complicating this for you. The 65-67 "small" bellhousing is pretty common, Ford used them in almost everything. This would be stock for your car. The engine cover is available new, as is the 157T flywheel. The starter you have now should do it, too. If you get the slightly larger later bellhousing, you'll need the 164T flywheel, and of course the later engine cover. Pretty much everything else will interchange. This stuff is easy to find, really.

Any Mustang supplier, such as Glazier's, will have most of this stuff on the shelf.

The C5DA is what you want, here are several:
