Default How/Where to find this dash trim piece?

I have a 65 coupe and I noticed on others that there is a chrome trim between the dash pad and the metal part. I don't have this. And I can't find it on any of the parts site. Is there a specific name for it?

Thanks

Lower dash pad trim. All 64-65 Mustangs had this. Just coming out in repro, bloody expensive if you ask me. It can still be found, used. It's stainless, so even the worst abandoned Mustang is a potential donor.

These are the only ford IDent numbers that can been seen for these parts

There is no cross reference to Ford Part Number in the Ford parts catalog

04518
04519

04296
04297

I suspect a C5ZZ prefix

and an A suffix but those numbers don't bring up the parts.

The part is called an: Instrument panel pad upper molding

Some call them the eyebrows.
All mostang part shops claimed they will be soon produced again, but I couldn't locate any.
I was missing them as well (left and right), so I ended up paying 80$ for a very nice set on eBay. there's one selling them for 40$ a piece, which will be 160$ summa summarum ... so I'd say just keep looking, they always keep re-appearing

Try CJ's Pony Parts. They have a salvage yard.

I have a 2$ bet on either they are _very_ expensive (150$+) or they are all gone already. I have another 2$ on they get one call a day on that :-)

I at one time needed the piece at the back of the dash pad where it meets the windshield and that part is also not reproduced.

I called Mustang Mania in Katy, Texas and they had one off a parts car. CJ had it as well but they were more expensive.
