swapped for the edelbrock 650 (thunder AVS)

Hi Kalli,
Are you still running the Edelbrock? 30 mph in 5th gear and normal driving at the traffic light makes me consider leaving my holley (it has gone way way better than before but I am still far from you and we have pretty much the exact same setup).
Thanks!

yes. still running that edelbrock. Your setup sounds very fine. 17mpg ;-)
that 30mph in 5th is something noone wants to do anyway (especially not accellerating), but before I changed the carb it would not drive at all under such circumstances. no load and part load situatiuons at low rpm.
I was convinced that I needed to change 3 parameters (accell pump, jets and PV) to get it right, so I just tried the edlbrock. since that carb was already running on the engine the PO probably made the most important adjustments already (they were racing that thing on a Ford GT40).
So I'm with the Edelbrock only for the easy option.
I believe since your car is dynotuned, I'd rather stay away from any changes. You might just make it worse.

OK, thanks.
I was just thinking that I am far from the driveability that you described. I agree that my mileage is good and I probably have as much power as I could get with this setup (269 hp) but I feel like there is still some room to improve the driving pleasure
