is it alot of work to put a 5.0 in a 67 mustang?

haha it depends if it orginally had the inline 6 or v-8....if you already have/had a v-8 that souldnt be too bad

everything about these cars is gonna require a good bit of work

orginally had a V8. so if i go carbed, it should not take much work at all?

no, IIRC it will go right in, no problems.
do you know what heads it has by any chance, thats the only problem could be if you have gt-40 P heads ( the headers are very expensive)

Look around on http://midnightdsigns.com/james/ if your car is a v8 now its not too bad but if its a inline 6 sell the car and buy a v8 one.

he said it was originally a v8....if you wanna do a 5.0 and u get it carbed shouldnt be too much work but you do have to want to do it 2

This is a Ford Racing 5.0 'crate motor' installed in a 67 coupe, that started out as a 6 cylinder. The engine uses all the belts, brackets, PS and pulleys stock for a 67. A special damper, and if you use stock clutch linkage a small clutch adapter are pretty much all you need, it's really as easy as putting in a stone-stock 67 289.
