Default Clutch Cable. What is everybody using?

Which one are is everybody using RMP or Modern Drive line? I am on the fence. I have the newer style bellhousing.
Which brings me to the next question what headers are everybody using? I was looking into a set of shortys from heddman, just to solve a lot of the problems that I would run into with the cable and the fact that my motor mounts lowered the motor a 1/2 inch.

Take a serious look at the MustangSteve Cable Clutch setup. The clutch pedal attachment is much more robust than either you named.

Seems like LOTS of people have issues with header interference....that's why many switch to hydraulic systems. If you like shorty headers... that takes care of the problem.

I am with James on this one.

We used Mustang Steve setup with "mid length" headers on a 351.

IMO the M/S setup is well thought out and works great.

Mustang Steve ftw! I have RMP 1/2" lowered mounts, Steve's pedal set/cable/mc, and Hedman midlength headers in my 66 fastback and it all fits great.

I like how the Mustang Steve cable is setup.

I have a Modern Driveline cable on mine. It works nicely. I don't know of anyone having problems with MD.

I don't know much about the RMP clutch cable.

I also have RMP adjustable motor mounts and JBA mid length is what they are called, but they are basically shorty headers.

Fits 64-1/2 to 68 Mustangs (and other Fords using similar clutch pedal)
Will NOT fit 69-70 Mustang due to cowl floor differences.
