Default Looking for hard to find parts-HELP

Hi all,

I'm new on the site and have recently purchased a 65 coupe. I need some little things to completely finish the restoration and I cannot find them anywhere. Does anyone know where I can find the dash trim molding that fits near the bottom of the windshield to hold that end of the dash down? I found them for a 67 or 68 but none for 65/66. Also, I can't find the windshield pillar or A pillar pads/covers. Again, found them for 67/68 but not for 65/66. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

ebay is your best bet on the dash to windshield trim. I just bought a set on ebay for $20 for my 66. MP Products makes the a-pillar trim with or without gauge pods. They are not totally original, but no one will notice unless you point it out.

The A pillars on a 65/6 don't have pads or covers. In fact the 68's don't have them either. That is a one year only 67 item. The pillars on a 65/6 are painted with no cover.

Well, typically early 68's, before the strike, had them. These and the lower dash pad were dropped to save money after the strike. Ditto the flush-mounted but expensive quarter reflectors.

Page 146 of the NEW CJ Pony Parts catalog. I was looking for them too and their new cat has them.
