Default Which autolite spark plugs?

Currently I have Autolites 104s installed which are fouled from my car running rich (they are black)

Should I get autolite 104's again or go with some other kind of autolite because I hear the 104's do not have enough heat range which could also build up the carbon deposit??

I have a 302 in my 65 mustang

check on the heat range of the current spark plug.
you should be able to tell from the threads.
Count the amount of threads that are discoloured (lighter). that should tell you. at least from what I've been reading.
2-3 seems optimal. more is too hot and less is too cold

if they are black you should be able to clear them within a few miles running 'normal'
So if they are not malformed in any way, i'd try adjust carb and see if that has affect.
Otherwise your new plug will look the same in 3 hours driving
