Default Suspension Reassembly

so i've got all the old suspension out and i mean all of it. Already drilled the new holes for the shelby drop as well. So now laying around the car i have new UCAs LCAs coil springs, tie rod ends, idler arm, shocks, sway bar, and a new disc brake swap kit. My question is, what should my reassemble order be. CAn i put the arms and the coil springs in first and still pick up the uca far enough to fit in the new spindle? Just trying to plan this out logically. thanks guys.

i would say you want to have your UCAs, LCAs, and spindle all mated before installing the coil spring and of course the shock after the coil. Strut rods and Sway bar could go on next. Steering components can go on after you've got all the suspension on. And brakes could go on last.

thanks fred, pretty much my thoughts exactly, i think i may search around for a better spring compressor tomorrow. the kind i have doesnt fit in the shock tower very well, its the claw type that you put the two different compressors on across from each other.

also, i am unsure of how to torque down the LCA bolts, since i read that that is where the caster is adjusted. It is the bolt that goes through the washer at an offset towards the top of the washer. Anybody know what im talking about?

You need one of these, very similar to the ones used by Ford dealers, very quick and safe:

Autozone should have this one. My friend and I have both used it and had no problems with it. Worked great.
