Default power steering questions ... again ..

alright,

still playing around witht he power steering on my 65. the cam pack is worn and whining but i cant find just the cam pack so im lookin to buy an entire pump.

to get teh correct one from the get go its $270+ as i have a ford pump with an AC compressor.

the 67-69 pump can be had for $115.

my question is does anyone know if i can buy a 67 pump for the lower price and just swap the housings?

or would i be better off spending the $140 on a 65 pump thats non AC and swapping the housings on it?
