Default Monte Carlo

Ok, probably a stupid question but...

Thinking of ordering a Monte Carlo bar, father's day gift but the wife / boys didn't want to try and pick it out.

I noticed CJ Pony has them but they also sell a "hard ware kit". Picture only shows two bolts...is that all there is?

One bolt on each side?

Normally if you required two they would say something about "need one per side" or something along those lines.....

theres a bolt you need for each side on the top I believe. The side of the bracket gets bolted in by 2 existing bolts that protrudes into the engine bay from inside the wheelwell.

The cars at home, so this is all from memory. There is at least 1 other spot in the brackets on the monte carlo bar that you would need to drill a hole for and install a bolt. Pretty that ones on top.

there are 8 bolt holes on mine. 2 on top of each side and 2 on the side on each.

right, but 4 of those bolts are already on your car, they supply 2 bolts and the other 2 holes need to be drilled out, they dont supply bolts for those.

Ok, thanks guys...that makes sense now but I knew it had to have more than 1 bolt on each side.

Didn't think of using the existing bolts.
