Default 65 Mustang Tempature Sensor

is there a temp sensor for a light in the car and one for a guage and if so what will happen if i have the light sensor on the intake but i have a temp guage in the car. Will it read all over the place or not work at all it moves a lot and kinda fast for a temp gauge if you ask me.
EVERYTHING IS NEW AS FAR AS COOLING GOES

You would only have one for the warning lamp or the gauge, not both.
