Distribution block for brake swap
Please enlighten me. If I already have a distribution block on my 68, why must I change to the Granada distribution block when doing the Granada swap? Are the blocks disk/drum specific? Isn't the block just distributing fluid?
Once you are ready to road test, use a grave drive or road to check. Stop with gradually increasing pressure until the front or rear brakes lock first. Ideally, you want the front brakes to lock slightly before the rear.
Probably not because I'd be reducing line psi to the rear with a block that is metered for rear drum brakes already. The fronts need more psi. If I were to take the piston and spring out of the Granada block then I'd have to use the bias valve.

I used the distribution block/prop valve from the Granada when I did the swap on my '67 coupe.
I was able to do the install without having to fab any new brake lines by mounting the distribution block upside down.
