A friend of mine had something like that.
He was a sterio installer at the local sterio shop and they all would leave their keys on a shelve up front. Well one day his keys were gone and some of the guys he worked with took his car to get something to eat, he got pissed and wired it up so the only way to start the car was to hold the window toggle, as if you were tryin to roll the driver side window up, while you turned the key. Pretty good idea IMO. Maybe thats what it is till ya trace the wires all the way or start the car and shut the toggle off and see what turns off ya never gonna know :P

OK. One more guess. 1967 fog light switch. (assuming it is a TOGGLE switch)

Oh man, it could be a ton of things.
Fog lights, radio on off, hazards, dash lights, eletric fan, the blower on/off for the heater, wipers on off, hell it could be wired to the dome light for all we know. again till he traces it completely or turns on the car turns everything on and shuts off the switch and something turns off.... we can only guess. Shoot it could be hooked up to nothing LOL

well, i know for sure it's not a 67 Fog light switch, considering the car is a 69. OR at least I'm pretty sure its not. It could be the radio, but the rdaio has it's own power switch so I dont think so. NERF NERF, ROFL, i just remebered that there is a wire connection thingy that is near the switch but not connected to anything. I cant remember if the wires go together but maybe some accessory went there. Like I said, i'll check tmw and get back to you all.

P.S. LOL, the engine wont start. I'm not getting it to crank over and there's no spark when I bridge the connection on the distributor. I don't think i've changed anything since the last time I started it and the battery definatly works. Any ideas?

hmmm, could it be the fog lights. I think my fog lights are dead though. The only headlight coming on is the passenger side one. How do I take the light out?
