Ok, Here is the deal.

PROBLEMS:
When the parking lights are on: I can put the turn signal on left or right and all that should flash get brighter but will NOT blink.
When the parking lights are off: I have nothing at all when I put the turn signals on left or right.nothing even lights up.

What works: All parking lights/headlights/brake lights/emergency flashers

Solutions I have tried:
Checked all fuses and replaced them under the dash,(even if they were not blown).
Checked and replaced both flasher units for Emergency and turn signal.
Checked the ground wires at all 4 corners of the car.

I am thinking maybe the headlight switch or turn signal switch? But why do they get brighter when I turn the turn signal on with the parking lights on and then nothing when the parking lights are off??

Any ideas guys?

Still sounds like a flasher issue. New ones can be defective, or pehaps the parts place gave you the incorrect flasher made for another car. Check that out before you buy a $100 turn sig switch. Good luck.

+1 I had the same problem. The new kid at the parts counter gave me a flasher for Nova.

Once I fixed the flasher situation I was back in business.

 

Ok,I have tried about 6 different flasher so far.
At 99 cents a piece I'll try 10 more!! lol
