Default 66 Dash Pad

I am re-doing the inside and need a dash pad. I looked on ebay and saw anything from 99.00 to 200.00. Has anybody had any luck with any of these products? I know the 200.00 ones say they are ford tooling, the lessor say repo. And as always i'm on a budget and this is a work in progress driver.

Ford has replacement dash pads available and they can be ordered from a Ford dealer. Pretty expensive. Then there are reproduction dash pads made by an aftermarket supplier. They usually run in the $150 range from the online Classic Mustang suppliers. If it were me, I'd go with the repos. You didn't mention the color needed.

This is a case where you get what you pay for.

Get a Dash Direct replacement and it will fit perfectly and look great. This is the one from MU:

And here it is installed in my 66:

Not all colors are available in original tooling. I bought the lightest color in order to dye it the original color. I took an unfaded sample to Finish Master and they matched it great. Fit was excellant.
