Default Removing power steering

I'm done with the hassle for now. I'm getting this http://www.mustangsunlimited.com/ite...atKey=EMUSTANG

Now it says remove the belt bracket. Would that be the one in the center of the engine or the one from the power steering pump. If anyone that has dont this has a picture or diagram of their belt assembly that would be greatly appreciated.

"Belt bracket"? I've been working on Mustangs since the Nixon administration, and I don't know what they mean.

Remove the pump and pump brackets, hoses and hose bracket as an assembly. Remove the valve and power cylinder. Remove the belt. Install the adapter. Drive.

nice. well if i removed the pump and the belt wouldnt there be 2 pulleys without a belt. I would need to get another belt that was smaller for them correct.

Really? If the PS is the only belt driving the water pump or alternator, it would be strange. Fords typically have one belt dedicated to only these, and the PS belt is the next one, in the next sheave closer to the radiator.

Dallas Mustang sells a little do it yourself kit which costs maybe $70 at most! Thats what I used on my car, works great!
