Default Pretty Engine

lol, yes its a "differernt" subject. Anyway, i'm going to take out the engine to rebuild and clean it soon. I've got a few questions though. First off, i'd like to chrome it out and make it more sexy. So where on the passenger's side valve cover is and the vent is located, should I just replace the vent elbow with a breather cap? Note that the hose that should come off that elbow goes to the air cleaner not the carb like a normal 69er. Next, does anyone have a recommedation for a 74 351W chrome kit, i'm trying to do some price comparisons. Finally, i have an evil brake line that seems to have come unscrewed from my front passenger side wheel. I dont have easy access to it from underneath and I can't get the tire off because the lug nuts are rusted tight. Tried some different sprays and things but it wont budge. I might take it over to a buddies of mine and try an air gun on it. lol, if that wont work, i'll get out the torch and see how well that works. Till then, any ideas how to get back in there.

EDIT* P.S. if you think I'm lying about the engine set-up. I'll get a pic. I have a line that comes off the oil cap and runs to the back of the intake manifold. On the opposite valve cover, a plastic elbow that should have a hose running up to the air cleaner, unless I was told wrong.

You can use a vented cap to replace the side with the air filter hose, but the PCV that goes to the intake you need. As far as chrome parts, the cheap ones rust and get pitted. Good chrome and ploished aluminum parts are about the same price and you can repolish the aluminum easier than having parts rechromed.
