Default Fuel Pump Location

Can anyone tell me how to access a fuel pump on a 1969 Mustang Coupe Grande for replacement purposes? Thanks.

It's on the left-front corner of the engine on V8's, and the center left side of 6 cylinder engines.

Well he could just follow the fuel line from the carb....I was thinking maybe the AC unit or something was in the way....

It's the sensor that measures the fuel level.

Okay. Found it. But how the heck do I get to it? If I have to take that radiator hose off, will I have to drain the radiator?

Hmmm… I've never had to take a hose off to access the fuel pump. Unless you have some weird aftermarket hose…

Two fuel lines and two bolts. You should be able to change it in 1/2 hour. Remove the old one, clean the mounting surface completely, put a dab of break in lube on the arm, use a small amoount of gasket adhesive on the gasket, and you are all set.

I am not 100% sure but I think the fuel filter is on the carb. Bronze color. You can follow the fuel line from the pump to it I think.
Correct me if I am wrong.
