I have a rear bench from a 2007 test fitted in my 67 right now. Its a little tight left to right on the back section but can be pushed in. the bottom section leaves about a 2 inch gap on either side between seat end and inside of rear quarter and the overall height is about 4 inches taller than the rear deck where the speakers sit.

Dont know about the 99-04 but that might help

also, while we are on the subject, have you put the fronts in? I read that the 05+ fit, that the front 2 bolts are the same width and you just have to re drill for your rear 2.... ya not the case.... might want to measure it before you spend your money on others advice. Not that its a hard fab, but might want to double check. good luck post pics!

This sounds like an interesting project. Does anyone know if front buckets from an 05+ will fit in a 70 coupe?

I put in rear seats and 3 point belts from a '98

Also someone else did too

I found that there is a gap in the edges of the seats, the seat belts kind of take up the edges of the upper seats on mine, azpete made panels to cover up the gap in his.
the gaps in the lower seats isn't too much and I think it is tolerable enough for me.

Wait! So, are you guys saying that the front seats out of a 99-04 will fit right into my '67 without modification???

Any mustang front seat will work the newer ones you have to drill new holes and then they will bolt on your seat brackets.

You also space off the tracks to they don't catch on the fabric under the seat.
